Don Donovan - Tom Boothe Win Drawings in Safety contests
(August 2006)

The new safety contest for lost-time injuries stated March 1, 2006 . The first quarter ended May 31, 2006 without an injury. Don Donovan, night shift trailer mechanic at Weyers Cave was the winner of a new Sirius satellite radio and one year's subscription for the satellite service.

The next drawing will be September 1, and YOU could be the next winner.

A new contest for all Houff Transfer, Inc. company and lease drivers started in January. For every month we go without a D.O.T. recordable crash, the company is awarding cash awards in a random drawing. For each month we go in succession the awards graduates to a higher monetary scale.

May was the first month we were able to go without a recorded crash. The winner of our first drawing for this contest was Tom Boothe who received a $150 cash prize.

Our record is 168 days. That's worth $800 and only twelve days shy of a $1000 cash award.
