VTA Presents Safety Awards
(September 2008)

Houff Transfer, Inc. of Weyers Cave, Va. was presented the 2008 Grand Trophy for Fleet Safety in Virginia, which is awarded to the company judged to have had the state's most effective motor carrier safety program during 2007. Houff Transfer won the award in their division with an accident frequency rate of 0.4. In 2007 their Virginia-based drivers worked a total of 315,000 hours with no fatalities and no los time injuries.
